JOB SUMMARY:

The Meat Wrapper must provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures and performs a variety of tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Stocks and merchandises both the fresh and frozen cases
Prices products
Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy and proper rotation in coolers
Rewraps meat packages, as needed
Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
Ensures great customer service
Maintains clean and organized pork rinds rack
Keeps meat displays clean and presentable
Stores cleaning supplies properly
Advertises department products

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
Experience working in a meat department, a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

The incumbent must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance.

Ability to properly communicate with coworkers and customers
Ability to follow the positions responsibilities and guidelines
Multitasking skills
Excellent customer service skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:
$15.65 per hour
