Join us as a UX Research Intern to help shape and contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS, located at Candlewood Lake, OH.


Your Role:
As a member of the Design & Insights team at ZEISS Digital Partners, you will have the opportunity to learn and support the entire UX research process


This includes:

  • Developing a research plan, including methodology, for early stage and Design Thinking projects
  • Preparing research guidelines based on agreed upon scope and hypotheses
  • Recruiting potential customers and users based on defined profiles and criteria, utilizing both internal networks and external partners/agencies
  • Conducting onsite or remote research to explore user needs and validate hypotheses and ideas with potential customers and users, using stateoftheart tools
  • Synthesizing key insights and providing clear, actionable recommendations
  • Sharing results with key stakeholders within ZEISS in the most effective ways and ensuring smooth handovers
In addition, you may also support with preparing workshops, conducting desk research, or taking on leadership roles.


This internship will provide you with first-hand experience in the strategic development of future customer experiences for ZEISS products and services.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about Design Thinking, Service Design, and User Research from experienced team members in a diverse and international team.

You will also have exposure to various fields and industries, such as medical technology, eye care, and industrial metrology.
