As Head of DevOps (m/w/d) in Litchfield, NE, you will coordinate development activities in the software and infrastructure areas for external and internal target groups for Viessmann products and systems.

The goal is to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and adherence to established performance and quality standards with development teams from various R&D centers.


What you will achieve:


  • Targeted leadership of the DevOps team
  • Development of development perspectives for your team members and resource planning
  • Translation of requirements into solution concepts
  • Automation of recurring tasks in the software life cycle
  • Creation of cost transparency and identification of potential savings in the cloud environment
  • Scaling of IT systems for cost reduction or load management
  • Support in the service process, particularly in the area of prevention of customer impact and analysis of the cause of a disruption

Who you are:


You have already gained experience as a team lead or manager, but you also enjoy daily technical work in an agile environment.

In addition to a successfully completed university degree in IT, you bring the following qualifications:


  • More than 5 years of experience in a leadership position
  • Good knowledge of continuous integration & deployment tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker)
  • Advanced knowledge in at least one cloud platform (preferably Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience in programming languages (preferably JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, Python, or Java)
  • Good knowledge of IT security (e.g. SSL
