Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team.
As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform various machining operations.
Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be crucial in producing high-quality parts.Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform machining operations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet production targets
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc or similar CNC controls
- Experience with welding and fabricating techniques
- Knowledge of CAM programming software
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Mechanical knowledge of machining principles and practices
- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with press brake machines is a plus
Pay:
$ $26.34 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
