Description

To strengthen our Technical Department at our Bedford branch, we are currently seeking a Construction Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing construction projects in the areas of port construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure in our ports in Norddeich and Bensersiel, as well as our ports on the East Frisian Islands of Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog, and Wangerooge
  • Developing and coordinating design and execution plans, including tender documents, for port infrastructure projects
  • Conducting procurement procedures (VOB)
  • Supervising and overseeing construction projects for port infrastructure
  • Other tasks may be assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Good knowledge and experience in contract and procurement processes (VOB / VgV / VOL / HOAI etc.)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and manage economic aspects
  • Initiative, teamwork, resilience, and organizational skills
