Pet Funeral Director (m/f/d)


At CREMARE, working as a Pet Funeral Director (m/f/d) means providing pet owners with a dignified farewell for their beloved animals.

We all deeply value the respectful handling of a deceased pet that has been a loyal companion for years. Through our close relationship with our customers, we understand the diverse ways in which people cope with grief. Would you like to be a part of our friendly Cremare team?


Your responsibilities include:

  • Retrieving deceased animals from veterinary practices, other pet funeral homes, or private households
  • Providing guidance and support to pet owners over the phone and in person
  • Preparing for viewings and farewells
  • Recording and managing orders in our system
  • Advising on products and services
  • Transporting small animals to the pet crematorium
  • Being available for oncall duties in the evenings and on weekends
  • Representing the company and our philosophy

What we are looking for:

  • High empathy and love for animals
  • Structured and independent work style
  • Experience in customer service
  • Respectful treatment of animals, customers, and colleagues
  • Motivation and resilience in emotional situations with pet owners
  • Neat appearance and friendly demeanor with appropriate manners
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
