Description

The development is an essential part of the future success of the Pfannenberg organization.

The engineer helps to translate customer requirements into technical solutions in an interdisciplinary team and designs them until the final product is completed.

We are currently looking for a Development Engineer (Mechanical) (m/f/d) to join our R&D team as soon as possible.

These are your responsibilities:
Feasibility studies and concept design of air conditioners, chillers, and air-water heat exchangers for industrial environments
Development and 3D design in coordination with production, purchasing, and quality assurance
Content-related processing of development projects from concept to prototype, including independent tracking of work packages, costs, quality, and deadlines in coordination with project managers and group leaders
Construction and validation of prototypes in collaboration with the laboratory
Supporting purchasing in the specification and procurement of new technical components and solutions
Preparation of risk and functional analyses, as well as necessary documents
Cross-departmental support for technical content, nationally and internationally

These are your qualifications:
Successfully completed engineering degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or a comparable field (Master/ Dipl.-Ing./ Dipl.-Ing. (FH))
Strong technical affinity combined with a passion for system engineering, preferably with experience in the fields of air conditioning and refrigeration technology, process engineering, or plant engineering
First experience in the design of individual parts
