is currently accepting resumes for the below listed position / schedule in West Hartford, CT:


-Saturday & Sunday: 3pm-11pm [16hrs] $17.50

Responsibilities:


  • Monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment, performing traffic duty as needed.
  • Exterior and Interior tour of campus grounds and buildings, while also using tour system/checkpoints.
  • Complete lockdown of campus by end of shift
  • Monitor site cell phone for access requests, incidents, and security questions
  • Communicate with client/maintenance department with all issues and activity
  • Maintain daily report
  • Set up / move driveway barricades
  • Vehicle & golfcart exterior patrol
  • Act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorized access or activities
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including investigating and documenting any suspicious behavior or activities
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and protect company assets
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns
  • Perform access control duties by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as necessary
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong conflict management and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • First aid, CPR, or other relevant certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous
  • Connecticut Security Officer License / Guard Card
  • Drivers License
