The city of Cashmere, WA is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Case Manager for Social Services for People with Disabilities (m/f/d).

This is a temporary position with a weekly workload of 39 hours.

What will be your responsibilities?

Processing applications and ongoing case management for integration assistance according to the Social Code IX and other rehabilitation services, primarily for adults with disabilities over 18 years of age
Comprehensive, detailed and intensive consultation with citizens regarding their entitlements, taking into account the type, form and extent of assistance as well as claims against third parties according to Social Code IX
Recording applications, verifying completeness of documents and determining the appropriate jurisdiction according to Social Code IX
Deciding on the type and form of participation in the workforce according to Social Code IX
Deciding on the type and form of assistance for mobility, aids, visit allowances, communication support, housing and flatrate financial assistance
Deciding on participation benefits from other rehabilitation providers, such as Social Code V in cases of imposed jurisdiction
Determining the use of income and/or assets to cover needs according to the 9th chapter of Social Code IX or other laws
Processing payments and disbursing assistance through the appropriate program
Identifying, verifying, claiming and enforcing entitlements from other social service providers or rehabilitation providers
Compiling legally required statistics and commissioned statistics
Processing reimbursement claims
