For our client, a manufacturer of packaging materials based in Neuss, we are currently seeking a Cross Cutter Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team in Colonial Heights, VA.

Your responsibilities:

Production of cardboard sheets according to customer specifications using the cross cutter
Packaging and preparation of pallets for shipping
Collaboration with the cross cutter operator
Troubleshooting on the pallet turner
Cutting checks, angle deviation checks, and visual inspections
Transporting finished cut pieces for packaging
Cleaning the cross cutter according to HACCP standards
Checking for scraps and edge strips on the cross cutter

Your qualifications:

Completed vocational training preferred
Previous experience as a machine operator preferred
Attention to detail in work
Forklift license and experience
Willingness to work in shifts
