Overview:

Full Time Counselor 40 Hours Day

Castle Partial Program

1000 Atlantic Avenue Camden NJ Virtua facility)

Monday-Friday

$20-$22 per hour PLUS full benefits (equivalent to about $15k yearly)

MUST have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.

Experience with children in behavioral & mental health.
Provides for the direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
  • Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient's treatment plan.
  • Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
  • Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
  • Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
  • Maintains certification in _Handle with Care_ behavior management system.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
