The company is looking for a candidate to work on a project involving mechatronic systems such as valves, pumps, and fan drives, which are prone to wear and unplanned failures.

The goal of the project is to develop a concept for utilizing process data to assess the current wear and tear of these systems and detect potential failures before they occur.

The project will be carried out in collaboration with the "Energy, Buildings, and Infrastructure" department.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on existing approaches and the current state of technology
  • Identify relevant components of the energy and supply systems for predictive maintenance
  • Develop strategies for estimating the aging process and predicting remaining lifespan for each component type
  • Implement a "Predictive Maintenance" approach on selected pilot systems
  • Create a concept for implementing the developed approach throughout the company's locations

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in data analysis and experience with statistical methods
  • Proficiency in programming, preferably in Python and C#
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with other departments
  • Ability to work independently and develop creative problemsolving solutions
