Prime Residential's
Construction Project Coordinator is an integral part of our team ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. You are the main administrator of all project information and task lists throughout the project life cycle.

You will support the Construction Project Manager in overseeing the on-time completion of projects that vary in scope and complexity.

You are a key conduit for communicating project information with the larger team, and you work closely with internal and external project contacts.


This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

We are open to have someone office out of the following areas:
Los Angeles, South Bay, San Fernando Valley or Oxnard.

What You'll Do:

Project Administration

  • Review and reconcile various cost proposals, manage interior supply ordering for unitturns, create purchase orders for interior unit turns, review and submit new vendor information requirements.
  • Provide support for fieldrelated management including verification of existing conditions, quality control review with project teams, vendor interaction to ensure all projects are managed to Company standards.
  • Effectively communicate, interact, and develop beneficial relationships with contractors, consultants, and community management teams.
  • Set up meetings to walk scopes of work with vendors for various capital improvement projects.
  • Have a complete understanding of multiple projects with the ability to punch walk various capital improvement projects and interior unit renovations unsupervised.
Document Management

  • Manage and organize multiple electronic project files.
  • Assist Project Manager with creation of Request For Proposal packages, send electronically to vendors, and follow up to ensure timely delivery of proposals.
  • Understand and gather required new vendor information prior to contract execution.

What You'll
Need:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred or 2 years equivalent construction experience, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of general contracting and the life cycle of a project.
  • Strong organizational, time management and project management skills to effectively track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities where meeting deadlines is critical.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, and Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relay highly detailed information.
  • Ability to multitask, balancing several competing priorities.
  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills to isolate problems, recommend solutions and implementation of solutions.
  • Excellent listening and critical thinking skills ability to learn quickly, understand current processes and requirements and identify new tools or ways of working that achieve business objectives.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • 20% chance of travel
