The eye doctor's office at Ochsenzoll is a demanding small practice company located in Hamburg-Langenhorn.

We are a purely conservative ophthalmology practice with state-of-the-art equipment, including a vision school, and we care for patients of all ages.

Our patients can expect personal care and high professional competence from us. We are looking to strengthen our small, high-performing team of practice manager, medical assistants, and orthoptists.


As a medical assistant (f/m/d), you can expect independent work at the front desk (scheduling appointments, issuing prescriptions, etc.) as well as the responsible execution of ophthalmological examinations using modern equipment (preliminary examinations including autorefractometry, non-contact tonometry, visual field tests, and special examination methods such as optical coherence tomography, Heidelberg retina tomography, scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, etc.).

You enjoy working in a strong team, are well-organized, and can stay calm under pressure. Your top priority is providing individual care to each patient. You are friendly, courteous, and highly service-oriented. Your profile is completed by a professional and empathetic demeanor.


For this diverse and demanding position, you ideally have completed training in the healthcare sector and several years of work experience in a medical practice.

Previous knowledge in the field of ophthalmology would be desirable, but can be compensated for by your quick comprehension, ambition, and our comprehensive training concept.
