This role is pivotal as the primary hub of communications, ensuring flawless execution and coordination from initial design through final installation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Designers and Principal Designers in developing detailed plans and elevations, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout project phases.
  • Oversee the production of mechanical plans, specifications, finish and fixture schedules, detailed drawings, and renderings.
  • Manage the rendering process, transitioning responsibilities as needed to Junior Designers.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the Design Team, communicating revisions, selections, and updated plans to all project stakeholders.
  • Handle pricing tasks, including plan development, selection pricing, and compiling cost sheets for Designer review.
  • Manage sample orders and oversee the order process with the Technical Department, including reviews and logistics coordination.
  • Conduct site measures, checks, and maintain communication with General Contractors, Architects, and Interior Designers.
  • Coordinate installations, create installation packs, and lead installation reviews with Lead Installers and Logistics.
  • Address jobsite questions from installers, focusing on designrelated issues and cabinet construction queries.
  • Generate and review punchlists with Installers and Designers, and order necessary parts.
  • Maintain uptodate project documentation and communication using tools like ONE NOTE.
  • Participate in meetings, including Zoom and onsite meetings, as required by designers.
  • Stay informed about new market products and vendors, updating the team accordingly.
  • Ensure all plan sets are printed and issued to client teams (architects, designers, GCs) in a timely manner.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the highend residential construction or interior design industry, particularly in kitchens.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of working effectively with various teams and external contractors.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools like Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with design software.
  • Ability to participate in and conduct effective meetings, both virtually and inperson.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies in kitchen design.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Education in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be detailoriented, proactive, and have a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
