Therefore, we are seeking
experienced proofreaders/editors (m/f/d) to support our advertising proofreading team in the southern district of Cologne as freelance employees (m/f/d).

Working from home is possible.

Wort für Wort was founded in 1993 and has since established itself as a professional service provider in the field of text, advertising proofreading and correction, specialized and advertising translations, as well as spelling and text training.

Our clients include well-known advertising and PR agencies of all sizes, as well as nationally and internationally operating companies from various industries.

The tasks:

You will proofread various texts from our clients (annual reports, brochures, flyers, sales folders, employee and customer magazines, etc.) based on individual writing guidelines.

The proofreading includes checking for spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and typography.

You will incorporate the corrections into both Word and PDF documents.

The requirements:

You have successfully completed a degree in German studies.
You have a strong command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
You have at least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in proofreading/editing.
You are able to work with concentration even under time pressure.
You are proficient in using programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
