Demolition Estimator/Project Manager/Engineer

We are in search of a highly motivated and qualified Construction Estimator with a minimum of at least 2-5 years of experience in estimating, bidding and proposal writing various size construction projects.

This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare scope specifications and requirements, prepare and input project schedules, perform quantity takeoffs, prepare cost summary sheets, and input quantities into estimating software.
Maintain an accurate, current database cost codes of accounts for historical data.
Develop and review subcontractor's scopes of work and accept, review, and analyze subcontractor's quotes for best value. Foster relationships with Subcontractors, Vendors, and Suppliers.
Prepare detailed and accurate material, quantity take off, labor, equipment, subcontracts, construction facilities, etc. Ability to utilize BIM for quantity takeoffs.
Thoroughly review all takeoff and pricing, specifically selfperformed work.
Present cost estimates to senior management to meet customer proposals, providing consideration for general and special conditions.
Ability to write proposals
Excellent communication skills both orally and written is required.
Assist Project Director in negotiating subcontracts and purchasing all major aspects of the project.
Assist in estimating job cost budget and turnover or transition meetings.
This is a full time in the office and on the job site position.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree
Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent 25years of estimating experience
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Advanced project estimator skills that include performing engineering calculations, and effective communication with Application Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering, and Vendors.
Build and maintain relationships when attending prebids, site conferences, etc.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Driver's license (required)

Contractor's License (preferred)

Bilingual (preferred)

Hours are from 9am - 5pm

Pay Range:
$85,000.00 to $95,000 per year or DOE

Work at the office in Potomac, MD 5 days a week
