  • Permanent position starting on
  • Location: Berlin
  • Fulltime, 39 hours per week


We are currently seeking a facility manager for our new GU1 with 286 beds located at Kablower Weg in the beautiful Grünau area, starting on 01.04.


Your responsibilities:


  • Professional, administrative, and qualitative management of the facility and the onsite team
  • First point of contact for crises and conflict situations (crisis intervention and deescalation)
  • Administrative tasks
  • Organizing smooth processes and assistance, and ensuring the operation of the facility
  • Monitoring and documenting guidelines and regulations
  • Communicating with clients, districts, and representatives
  • Managing and organizing committees, networks, and public relations, including community and volunteer work

Your profile:


  • Completed degree in pedagogy, social work, or education/social sciences
  • A good sense for refugees in need, wanting to provide a sense of security and support during their arrival
  • Appreciation for independent and responsible work, patience, and empathy
  • Ability to assert oneself, responsible, conflictcapable, crisisresistant, and proactive
  • Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team and following quality criteria
  • High level of empathy, but also able to set boundaries
