RTX Corporate team:
The RTX Communications organization is seeking an
Associate Director, Corporate Social Responsibility, STEM Partnerships. This key role supports the company's philanthropic, volunteer, and community-facing initiatives.


What You Will Do

  • Serve as a key member of the CSR team supporting and driving engagement with key community stakeholders including RTX employees; nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations; customers; and other partners at local, national, and global levels that advance the company's CSR strategy and business goals.
  • Oversee integrated social impact programs and engagement initiatives that further the Company's Lifelong Learning/STEM CSR pillar.
  • Manage, analyze, and evaluate RTX STEM partnerships and programs to ensure alignment across the U.S. and key global geographies and make recommendations to better refine partnership impact and effectiveness.
  • Review new STEM partnership requests and make funding recommendations.
  • Serve as CSR strategy lead for Collins Aerospace business; field, direct and consolidate requests from Collins leadership team and executives; solicit input and preview RTX CSR budget with Collins leadership; advise business communications team and business leadership on Collins' capability and product campaigns to provide strategic direction on CSR alignment.
  • Build relationships with RTX ERGs to drive engagement with STEM partners and volunteer opportunities.
  • Support RTX STEM program's social impact measurement and evaluation activities by communicating impact internally and externally. Proactively implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Lead a team of program managers.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with colleagues across Communications, Talent, DE&I, Government Relations and business teams to drive alignment to enterprise RTX STEM objectives.
  • Travel up to 15%, or as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience working in social impact, corporate citizenship, and community relations with specific experience in STEM outreach.
  • Proven experience planning, leading, and executing initiatives, events, and activities for employees, nonprofits, and community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive internal and external relationships with a proven track record of engaging employees or the public on large scale initiatives.
  • Motivated project manager who meets deadlines, maintains steady performance under pressure and can multitask.
  • Experienced in navigating fastpaced global environments working crossfunctionally across multiple lines of businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and effectively interface with all levels of employees, leadership and external organizations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and social communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
  • Communications and marketing analysis, including the ability to use data for impact.
  • Selfstarter with a natural curiosity to investigate details and drive deliverables to completion.
  • Adept at building relationships in a remote environment.
