Your new workplace

No two people are alike. The children, adolescents, and young adults with visual impairments and complex disabilities that we support at Pine Mountain Lake face special challenges in their daily lives. Your role as a school companion in one of our classes:

Your tasks

Supporting a student to enable their participation in class. The student requires constant supervision to ensure their own and others' safety. They are mobile and agile, communicate non-verbally, and do not speak. The position includes working hours from 8 am to 12:30 pm on school days.

Your profile

You should be able to build a good relationship with the student and ensure that they do not put anything inappropriate in their mouth or harm other classmates or individuals in any way.
