- 12 or more core units in Early Childhood Education Required.
- Work experience in a licensed child care facility as a floater or support Teacher.
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency (Title 22) including immunization, health screening, finger-printing and background check
- Must be able to lift up 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergencies.
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Highly professional and dependable
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
- Provide rest, meal, and bathroom breaks to classroom teachers.
- Substitute for classroom teachers for call-outs
- Observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
- Assist classroom teachers in curriculum and classroom management.
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions as determined by the Director
- Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times
