We, the Department of Social Services, together with our six social centers located throughout the city, our specialized department for refugees, integration and families, and our department for inclusion, combine the Youth and Social Services with the goal of providing tailored support to individuals in special life situations.

At the Vahr/Schwachhausen/Horn-Lehe Social Center - Social Services Department - Adult Social Services Division, we are looking for a Social Worker (m/f/d) in pay group S 11 b TV-L S, to start on May 1, 2024, for 25 hours per week on an indefinite basis.


Your responsibilities will include providing assistance to:

  • Young adults from the age of 18
  • Adults with chronic illnesses
  • Adults facing social difficulties, unless specialized services are responsible
  • Adults with care and support needs
  • Adults affected by degenerative brain disorders.
