Reach Forklift Operator Mon - Friday 7am-3:30 pm $20.00


Duties:


  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties as needed
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
  • Operate equipment such as Hi-Lo, cherry picker, reach truck, and other related machinery
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
  • Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and reporting any malfunctions

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts including Hi-Lo, cherry picker, reach truck
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment

Requirements:


  • Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
  • Excellent handeye coordination and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
