    Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversees the management of the production studio including equipment and maintenance needs for the studio and field equipment in collaboration with The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication.
  • Oversees the content creation for live videos including directing, producing, and filming.
  • Oversees all the editing for postproduction of all video content.
  • Coordinates the distribution of video/streaming assets internally and externally.
  • Collaborates with the School of Communication to optimize the production value of content produced by both entities.
  • Manages the onboarding process and daily scheduling of all new hires including students and freelance staff.
  • Provides mentorship and training to supporting staff.
  • Organizes and logs the production content and maintains video archive.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in multimedia production, filmmaking, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience, including internships, in video production.
  • Understanding and ongoing interest in video production technologies and techniques.
  • Expert understanding of video editing software, including the Adobe Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to carry necessary video gear to shooting locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience in athletic live video production preferred.
  • Professional experience in content creation including, storytelling, profiles, news events, features, and produced editorial shoots for advertisements and promotional use.
  • Professional experience in drone videography.
