Description

As a Battery Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of system requirements in new products, as well as the maintenance of existing products. You will analyze requirements, identify and evaluate potential solutions, coordinate decisions with the project team, and implement them in our fascinating products.

The position is located in a highly efficient team that is rapidly growing, as are the markets for batteries, battery systems, PV, and e-mobility solutions at Viessmann.

What you will achieve

  • Development of system architectures according to internal and external requirements, as well as their documentation and identification of development potentials.
  • Technical expertise on system components of our batteries, support of other departments or teams with technical knowledge.
  • Role as technical leader in system development projects with a focus on batteries.
  • Coordination of work packages and tasks with internal and external partners (e.g. research institutes, suppliers, etc.).
  • Tracking cost indicators for components and subsystems with purchasing, cost optimization of components such as batteries or battery assemblies.
  • Approval and certification of new products.
  • Documentation of technical decisions and identification with project goals.
