Our clients rely on dSPACE Rapid-Control-Prototyping (RCP) systems and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulators for the development and testing of future control and regulation systems for electric drives and power electronics at Whiteman AFB. As an engineer for the control of electric drives and mechatronic test benches, you will be responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, and support of RCP systems and HIL test benches. You will also develop new system and control concepts for optimal utilization of the hardware used.

Your tasks

Gathering customer requirements and specifying RCP systems and mechanical test systems
Creating application-specific feasibility studies
Integration and further development of control structures for electric drive systems
Commissioning in Paderborn and at our clients' sites (national and international)
Technical support for sales
Gradual assumption of project responsibility

Your profile

Successfully completed technical or scientific studies (Master/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar)
Experience with model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink
Knowledge in the areas of control of electric machines and sensor technology
