The city of Erwitte is currently seeking to fill the position of Administrative Officer for Fire Prevention Inspections (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

This is a full-time, permanent position with the following responsibilities:

Conducting fire prevention inspections in accordance with Section 26 of the North Rhine-Westphalia Fire Safety Act for buildings and facilities within the city of Erwitte
Carrying out these inspections in cooperation with the neighboring municipality of Bad Sassendorf
Maintaining a list of buildings subject to fire inspections
Issuing cost notices for fire inspections
Administrative tasks related to fire and disaster protection, including:
Reviewing, processing, and following up on operations carried out by the volunteer fire department
Invoicing for chargeable operations, compensation for officials, travel expenses, and training participation
Managing equipment, supplies, and vehicles, including procurement
Occupational safety matters for the volunteer fire department of the city of Erwitte
General regulatory matters and field work
Participation in the oncall service of the Department of Public Order

We expect the following qualifications:

Qualification as a fire protection technician (m/f/d) through successful completion of a recognized training course, or willingness to obtain this qualification in the near future
Completion of the F/B 5 course ("Association Leader") at a minimum
Several years of experience in the field of fire protection and/or the fire department
Relevant knowledge of occupational
