The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions who want to become even better with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a metalworker specializing in construction technology (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Konz location. The vocational school is located at the BBS in Saarburg.
What to expect in your apprenticeship:
  • You will learn how to manufacture metal and steel constructions
  • Evaluation of technical drawings
  • Various processes, such as thermal separation and welding
  • You will practice connecting workpieces properly
  • Expert preparation of test reports and documentation
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) school
  • You enjoy math, physics, and technology
  • You have a strong aptitude for craftsmanship and spatial imagination
  • You are dedicated and enjoy working in a team
  • Your careful and reliable work ethic sets you apart
