THE ROLE & THE TEAM:


As a Buyer for our Sports category at Lounge by Zalando in Boscobel, WI, you will be a valuable member of our high-performing team.

Together, we strive to find new and innovative ways to connect people with fashion in our Offprice segment. Your main responsibility will be buying branded products, collaborating closely with your buying and planning teams.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):

  • Take the lead in driving sales for your Sports portfolio, reporting to the Sports Lead Buyer. This includes sourcing new brands, negotiating favorable terms for Lounge by Zalando, curating your assortment, and staying on top of trends while managing existing brands.
  • Work with Category Controlling to define brand strategy, budget, and assortment planning. Monitor your KPIs and collaborate with the Category Controlling manager to track OTB and review unit performance, making datadriven recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships and regularly communicate with stakeholders from other departments such as Logistics, Content and Photo Production, Fashion Store, and Marketing. This ensures alignment with the overall organization and helps drive sales and maximize profit.
  • Stay uptodate on the latest fashion trends in the European market, particularly in the Ballsports category.
