Full job description

Duties:

Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order
Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures
Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
Feed information akin to speed, shapes and sizes through the machine set up box
Place parts in semiautomated machines
Calibrate machines at the beginning of each shift
Recalibrate machines at the end of each shift
Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machine adjustments
Ability to fabricate, weld, assemble, and package products as needed
Quality control skills for inspecting finished products and identifying defects
Materials handling skills for moving products between workstations or storage areas using hand tools or other equipment
Knowledge of tooling used in manufacturing processes
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
