Duties:


  • You will screen and route visitors and phone calls to appropriate personnel.
  • You will control, maintain, and schedule appointments on an office calendar.
  • You will log and distribute incoming and outgoing mail to correct recipient.
  • You will prepare presentation materials using office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to present information.
  • You will review documents for conformance with regulations, grammar, format, needed signatures, and other special policies.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving calls, greeting visitors, and responding to routine requests for information; 2) Reviewing outgoing correspondence for required information and format; AND 3) Utilizing computer software programs to prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, forms, or reports.

  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your resume will be used in your qualification determination.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
