The Office for Urban Renewal in Midfield, TX is seeking to fill a position for a Project Group Leader (m/f/d) in the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) project group.

This position is temporary and will be in effect until December 31, 2029, with the possibility of permanent employment after the conclusion of the International Garden Exhibition.

The city of Midfield is participating in the International Garden Exhibition Metropole Ruhr 2027 with the project "Future Garden Emscher nordwärts".

Midfield is one of three entry-required future gardens in the Metropole Ruhr.

Under the motto "How do we want to live, work, and reside tomorrow?", the "Future Garden Emscher nordwärts" aims to achieve a similarly positive impact as the IBA Emscher Park or the Ruhr 2010 European Capital of Culture.

Like these major projects, the IGA Metropole Ruhr 2027 has the main goals of improving the image of the Ruhr region and initiating and continuing investments in open spaces and urban infrastructure to manage structural change.
