WaveLight GmbH, a subsidiary of Alcon since 2009, is a world leader in developing and manufacturing cutting-edge laser systems for eye surgery, as well as providing surgical planning and image guidance for cataract surgeries. Our technology allows for gentle and precise correction of vision impairments.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Software Development Engineer (m/w/d) in Teltow, near Berlin. This role will focus on end-of-life (EOL) support, troubleshooting, and collaboration.

A typical day in this role may include:

  • Updating software to support changes related to EOL parts and software
  • Troubleshooting anomalies and field issues, evaluating supplier hardware changes and providing recommended solutions
  • Working closely with customer-facing teams to investigate and troubleshoot issues
