Description

The district of Erlangen-Höchstadt is looking for a clerk (m/f/d) for foreign affairs in Round Lake Heights, starting as soon as possible, in full-time (desk sharing may be possible) for the department - civil status, nationality, foreign affairs - in the area of foreign affairs at the Erlangen-Höchstadt district office in Erlangen.

Your tasks will include:

Processing of foreign affairs (Residence Act, etc.)
Issuing/renewing/transferring residence permits
Involvement in the process of issuing an entry visa
Checking for loss of the right to freedom of movement for EU citizens
Implementation of decisions to terminate residence
Processing of asylum cases (Asylum Act, etc.)
Issuing and renewing temporary residence permits, toleration and fictitious certificates
Examination of obstacles to deportation within the country
Processing of more complex foreign law cases or negative decisions on applications for residence permits, extensions, etc.
Conducting deportations, voluntary departures and exit interviews
Close cooperation with other public authorities, such as police stations
