Job Details:
Job Summary: Lead the delivery of project initiatives of moderate complexity that involve obtaining agreement/adoption of project objectives and deliverables by key sponsors. Ensures that a comprehensive project plan is developed and maintained to track deliverables and progress toward completion on time and within budget. Utilises company/industry project management methodologies and tools throughout project lifecycle.

This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretion and substantial decisionmaking authority.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
End to end project management, from inception and product design, through to completion Ensures that projects meet quality, schedule, milestone, and budget commitments Ensures that the goals and objectives of the project are understood and agreed with the project sponsor / Customer Manages project expectations, scope, risk and changes Provides leadership surrounding risk and issue identification and resolution. Acts as point of contact for escalation of project issues and resolves project conflict Identifies and raises risks and issues to leadership on a timely basis and works with appropriate parties to create mitigation plans Directs the integrations of a crossfunctional project team Ensures the delivery of the project deliverables with shared resources among various programs Demonstrate agile project delivery approach to accommodate changing business requirements Able to deliver as per Cubic's PM framework and demonstrate continuous improvement wherever the gaps are identified Contributes to the Program roadmap to facilitate business planning Accountable for project metrics and the actions of the project team incl subcontractors Leads through required project documentation such as the project charter, funding requests, status report, project plan, and closure documentation Continually assesses project resource requirements and reassigns based on revised project schedules Prepares and distributes reporting, tracking team and project metrics Provides thought leadership to projects and employees Builds a positive, collaborative working environment that instills respect, trust, quality and success as its core goalsOther duties may include Leverages formal change management processes to manage changes to scope, cost, schedule and to ensure alignment in expectations Tracks and drives resolution on open questions, issues and risks as well as develop risk mitigation plans Creates detailed project schedules and work plans to ensure all required project deliverables are tracked with dependencies and resource assignments clearly identified. Tracks progress of deliverables to completion and ensure project resources are managed to task plans Accountable for continuous monitoring of project health and adjusting resource allocations and task plans to ensure the success of the project and its team members. Resource management of project team including prioritising tasks and deadlines appropriately Develops proposals for new business, coordinating statements of work, specification development and subcontractor managementGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:


Essential:
University degree in Project Management, Information Systems and Technology Management, Computer Science or other relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience Project Management Certification in Prince2 or PMBOK or AIPM accreditationSkills/Experience/Knowledge


Essential:
Minimum 5 years' experience in delivering technology projectsWorking knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 Scheduling Tool Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time, including associated project teamsPersonal Qualities Highly driven, selfmotivated, and able to work unsupervised Able to perform in a matrix organization.
