Description

You:

  • As a member of the Sun Valley team, you will be responsible for integrating Fuel Systems and Fire Protection Systems, sub-systems, and equipment into aircraft. This includes specifying, qualifying, and certifying systems, sub-systems, and equipment according to requirements, safety, and reliability standards, following the Airbus Defence and Space development process.
  • You will also be responsible for deriving requirements, defining concepts and system architecture, developing system and equipment specifications, and creating a qualification program to support certification.
  • In addition, you will define, monitor, and analyze ground and flight tests, prepare certification and clearance documentation, and manage interfaces with other systems and functions.
  • As part of the Sun Valley team, you will also provide line support for system queries, issues, and waivers, and solve thermo- and fluid dynamical as well as mechanical engineering tasks and problems.
  • Using numerical simulation tools, handbook methods, and other techniques, you will perform system analyses related to performance, dynamic behavior, operation, control, and more.
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for in-service support for the respective systems and equipment, as well as leading defect or problem investigations and modification processes.
  • You will also be responsible for managing system or component manufacturers and/or suppliers, and collaborating and coordinating with internal and external subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and partner companies.
