Job Description:
As an expert in environmental impact assessments, you will independently create these assessments as part of official approval procedures. You will also use computer models to make emission forecasts (dispersion calculations). In addition, you will be responsible for calculating chimney heights.
Your tasks will also include preparing various application documents and working on topics in the following areas:
plant monitoring according to §5 BImSchG, emission declarations according to 11.BImSchV, external environmental protection officer according to 5.BImSchV, and solvent balances according to 31.BImSchV.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in natural or engineering sciences, preferably in chemistry, process engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in the environmental sector, for example in an engineering office, authority, consulting firm, or industry
- Willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities through individual further training
- Class B driver's license.
