Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, and administration of existing Linux servers, as well as monitoring and maintenance of the entire IT system environment
Systematic development of Linux systems
Automation of processes
2nd level support for various applications
You are the contact person for departments and accompany upcoming projects

Qualifications:

Degree or completed training in the IT field
Experience in administration of Linux Red Hat and ideally other Linux distributions
Good knowledge of Linux web and standard services (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Nginx) and database systems (MySQL and Oracle)
Experience in common scripting languages, such as Shell or Bash, is advantageous
Practical knowledge of Hadoop and Puppet is desirable
