Training Materials Tester (m/f/d) in Lewistown

During your training, we will show you the basic skills of metal processing and how to independently examine materials and pieces. You will also learn how to change and optimize their properties through technological processes. We will teach you which chemical and physical procedures to use in your analysis. Another part of the training includes various measurements and measurement series. You will already be able to carry out the measurements, record them, and evaluate them on the computer independently during your training.

What to expect
  • Insights into mechanical manufacturing processes (turning, milling, drilling, soldering)
  • Insights into the production and processing of materials
  • Planning of test procedures, construction or modification of equipment
  • Conducting mechanical tests (tensile, compression, bending tests, hardness tests, notch impact bending tests)
  • Application of physical measurement methods (magnetic measurements, electrical conductivity)
