The Department of Civil Engineering in the Garden Division of the municipal construction yard in Potts Camp, MS is currently seeking a full-time employee to fill the position of Team Leader (m/f/d) for the Garden Division with Deputy Construction Yard Management responsibilities.

This position is classified as pay grade 9a according to the TVöD (Collective Agreement for the Public Service).

Your future responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and coordinating the daily operations of the Garden Division, including planning and coordination of tasks, inspections, daily reports, time sheets, vacation and sick leave records.
  • Personnel management and performance evaluations in accordance with performancebased pay.
  • Independent planning and organization of all upcoming planting work in the city.
  • Receiving and addressing citizen complaints.
  • Managing and planning winter service operations during oncall duty and regular working hours.
  • Budget planning, independent preparation and creation of tenders.
  • Handling all forestry matters.
  • Acting as a substitute for the municipal construction yard management.
