Duties / Expectations Of This Role
- Hands on assembly of medical devices such as catheters, cables, connectors, solder joints, screening rings, and catheter tubes.
- Working with a microscope, tweezers, and other tools to assemble medical devices.
- Process development and refinement of assembly steps.
- Collaborate with technical team members to build, test, and evaluate results in a timely manner.
Must Haves - Qualification Summary
- Demonstrated success in the development, commercialization, or production of catheterbased disposable devices.
- Language skills: ability to read and understand SOP's and manufacturing procedures. Ability to write simple procedures, instructions and/or notebook entries and effectively discuss them with other members of a multidisciplinary team (R&D, MFG, Quality).
- Experienced in electromechanical devices
- Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic.
- Computer skills: basic spreadsheet or database entry ability.
- Ability to operate common test equipment (multimeters, Instron type testers).
Nice To Have
- Associates or Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of sophisticated medical catheters, electrooptics and/or precision mechanisms are all highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of catheter fabrication techniques and processes required
