Description

Duties / Expectations Of This Role

  • Hands on assembly of medical devices such as catheters, cables, connectors, solder joints, screening rings, and catheter tubes.
  • Working with a microscope, tweezers, and other tools to assemble medical devices.
  • Process development and refinement of assembly steps.
  • Collaborate with technical team members to build, test, and evaluate results in a timely manner.

Must Haves - Qualification Summary

  • Demonstrated success in the development, commercialization, or production of catheterbased disposable devices.
  • Language skills: ability to read and understand SOP's and manufacturing procedures. Ability to write simple procedures, instructions and/or notebook entries and effectively discuss them with other members of a multidisciplinary team (R&D, MFG, Quality).
  • Experienced in electromechanical devices
  • Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic.
  • Computer skills: basic spreadsheet or database entry ability.
  • Ability to operate common test equipment (multimeters, Instron type testers).

Nice To Have

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of sophisticated medical catheters, electrooptics and/or precision mechanisms are all highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of catheter fabrication techniques and processes required
