Administrative Specialist for Hunting Law

Your tasks in the Department of Public Order:

  • Exercising specialist and legal supervision over the hunting associations in the district in accordance with the State Hunting Act (
  • 11 SächsJagdG), in particular:
  • Examination and approval of statutes of the hunting associations
  • Monitoring the performance of tasks by the hunting associations
  • Determining the legality of resolutions passed by the hunting associations
  • Examination, confirmation or objection to the legality of hunting lease agreements
  • Advising the hunting associations and participating in hunting association meetings
  • Determining and shaping joint and private hunting districts
  • Procedures for issuing and revoking hunting licenses
  • Participation in the admission and organization of the hunting exam
  • Planning and monitoring of game kills with the aim of maintaining a healthy wildlife population, preserving species diversity, protecting against excessive damage in agriculture and forestry, and taking into account the interests of nature conservation and landscape management
