Rest Haven is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.
We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Operations Technology (m/f/d) at DB Cargo AG in Seddin near Potsdam, starting on September 1st.
The vocational school is located in Berlin-Spandau and the training workshop is in Berlin-Schöneweide.During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to analyze and fix malfunctions in our freight vehicles. You will also gain knowledge in measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures, as well as how to document them properly.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our trains are always ready for operation, primarily working on electric locomotives.
This includes maintaining and repairing electronic components such as information displays, drive motors, and monitoring systems.If you are interested in getting to know us and our vehicles in person, you can sign up for one of our events in Seddin.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you should have completed at least a middle school diploma or higher.You should also have a strong understanding and interest in math and physics, as well as good manual dexterity and a passion for working with electronic components.
