For our client, a chemical plant in Ualapue, HI, we are currently looking for a Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) for our CBO laboratory.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for routine analysis of products according to established analytical procedures for process control and calibration, as well as quality assessment
  • Conduct chemical and physical analyses to evaluate the production process of carbon black
  • Independently assess and release finished products
  • Assist in maintaining existing methods, analytical development projects, and method validation
  • Continuously improve existing methods (in consultation with the laboratory manager) in terms of costeffectiveness, accuracy, and relevance of measurement results based on specific requirements
  • Qualify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment (operate gas chromatographs or gas analyzers)

Your qualifications:

  • Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician/CTA
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
  • Independent, reliable, and conscientious work ethic
  • Team spirit and willingness to contribute
  • High level of quality and responsibility
  • Physically fit and able to wear full respiratory protection, willingness to undergo fire department training
  • Willingness to work in continuous shift patterns
