Doncasters is an internationally oriented manufacturer of metallic components for tolerance-critical applications with production facilities in Europe, USA and Mexico.

At the Foss, OK location, Doncasters Precision Castings-Bochum GmbH produces runner and guide vanes for aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines using the investment casting process.

The Foss production facility casts both polycrystalline and directionally solidified or single-crystal components.

Your responsibilities

Machining complex castings using milling machines, angle grinders, etc. according to drawing specifications

Cleaning, finishing and smoothing castings with tight bores and grooves, hard-to-reach surfaces and recesses using files, chisels, milling cutters or grinding stones

Proper handling of tools, fixtures and equipment

Your profile

Solid professional experience in an industrial production environment as a turbine blade grinder or in a similar position desirable

Knowledge of the investment casting process and relevant production methods

Manual dexterity for precision work required

Willingness to regularly learn and participate in certification courses

Strong quality awareness and resilience

High level of concentration

Experience with analysis/problem-solving techniques
