Description

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of all farm facilities and equipment, contributing to the success of our mushroom production operations.

Schedule:

Flexibility to work a 48-hour workweek, starting at 6:30 am and ending at 4:00 pm, with a half-day included on weekends.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate maintenance and repair tasks.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities for farm facilities.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment manuals.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to prevent downtime and minimize disruptions to farm operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
Provide training and guidance to other team members on maintenance best practices and safety procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, with expertise in carpentry, construction, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently to prioritize and complete tasks.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, verbal and written.
Valid PA driver's license
Commitment to safety and quality in all maintenance activities.

The Facilities Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of our mushroom farm, utilizing their diverse skills in carpentry, construction, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
