Overview


The Supply Chain Tech I provides materials management support for key Supply Chain activities and initiatives including receiving, warehouse, logistics and inventory management for the organization.

Performs a wide range of duties to coordinate purchasing, replenish stock supplies, and performs inventory management. Fills and distributes department requisitions and ensures par closets are maintained.

What you will do

  • Keys and fills departmental requisitions, picklists, and exchange carts daily. Pulls and delivers materials to the requesting user/department.
  • Breaks down stock into unit of issue and places items in proper storage are/par closet in a "FIFO" method.
  • Conducts rounds on all service areas, ensuring supplies are available. Continuous checking for expired supplies, and ensuring integrity of items.
  • Ensures inventory, delivery systems and documentation meet the needs of the department/facility operations. Manages supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation as required to meet the manufacturer and facility standards and regulations.
  • Records stock out/low level product situations.
  • Picks and fills over the counter departmental requisitions.
  • Cross trains in all areas of the distribution process and acts as a backup when needed.
  • Extracts critical reports and replenishes all PARs with needed supplies from PAR Excellence Computer.

Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, (required)
Experience

  • 1 year Stockroom or Inventory (required)
Skills and Abilities

  • Supply Chain Management Skills to ensure inventory, delivery systems, and documentation meets the needs of the department/facility operations. Able to manage supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage, and stock rotation.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to respond with flexibility to changes and adapts to varying work assignments including assisting other departments with inventory and system needs.
  • Ability to communicate reliably and accurately with all members of the team.
