DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a
Director of Quality to join the team. This position can be
based in Scottsdale, AZ or remotely within the U.S. with approximately 25-50% travel.

Our Team


Our team drives quality and a quality culture across a $2B portfolio of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage design and construction projects across the U.S.

This leader will need to develop and maintain a team of quality professionals as well as systems and procedures that will create an environment where DEPCOM's quality is industry leading.


What You Will Do

  • Drive a quality culture and processes that minimize rework and maximize project economics by limiting the amount of rework that needs to be done
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Establish quality control processes and procedures to monitor all phases of project delivery from bidding & estimating, design, procurement, to construction & commissioning
  • Support and grow a team that conducts regular audits and inspections and identify areas that need improvement
  • Cross departmental collaboration consistently seek feedback and identify areas for improvement
  • Work extensively with clients and key stakeholders to understand contractual quality requirements and address any concerns or issues that may arise during construction
  • Manage the implementation of preventative actions to address nonconformance
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices within quality
  • Deliver lessons learned to key stakeholders to aid in continuous improvement

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leading Quality teams
  • Experience with data collection and reporting (first pass yields, nonconformances per batch, rework cost reporting)
  • Experience inspecting construction techniques in the building of PV solar plants
  • Valid driver's license

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Utility scale solar experience
  • Experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
