The administration of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia is seeking to fill a temporary position as a Documentalist (m/f/d) in the department "Parliamentary Documentation" of the department I.A.5 "Information Services" at the earliest possible date.

The state parliament administration serves as a service provider for the parliament.

Its task is to ensure the smooth running of parliamentary operations and to create the organizational, personnel and technical conditions for the work of the members of the state parliament.

The Information Services department indexes and archives parliamentary materials and compiles the necessary specialist information and documents for the work of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament.

Your tasks:

Content analysis and indexing of parliamentary materials of the state parliament in the database systems of parliamentary documentation
Conducting research and providing information, especially for members of parliament, factions and the state parliament administration
Participation in the maintenance and further development of databases and information services of parliamentary documentation
Participation in the development of information services and the mediation of information competence
Use of online databases

Your profile:

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma or equivalent) in the field of information and documentation or another completed university degree and additional qualifications in documentation (Scientific Documentalist, Information Specialist or equivalent)
Relevant professional experience in the field of documentation is an advantage
Very good knowledge of new communication technologies and databases
Ability for conceptual and networked thinking and projectoriented work
Independent, effective and precise
