The
Department 4.3 Technology of the University Administration is seeking a
full-time, permanent
Workshop Manager for the Sanitary, Heating Technology, and Metalworking Workshop
to start as soon as possible.


The Technology Department is responsible for the technical building equipment in 350 buildings at the University of Bonn and maintains them.


Your tasks:

  • Operation, inspection, maintenance, repair, and improvement of sanitary and heating systems, as well as special supply systems
  • Supervision of external companies
  • Management of a workshop with 16 employees

Your profile:

  • Qualification as a technician or master in the field of sanitary, heating, and air conditioning technology or equivalent knowledge and professional experience
  • Several years of proven professional experience
  • Ideally, the ability to train apprentices in the craft
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Interest in a diverse range of tasks in the maintenance of university buildings
  • Teamwork skills
  • Reliability, commitment, and organizational skills
